1. Executive Summary

Tayo Resilience Foundation conducted a comprehensive Health Sector Assessment in Jubaland to evaluate healthcare access, service quality, and system capacity, the assessment identified critical gaps in infrastructure, staffing, medical supplies, and access to essential services, vulnerable groups including internally displaced persons, women, and children are disproportionately affected, this report provides evidence-based analysis and strategic recommendations to strengthen healthcare systems and improve community health outcomes.

2. Assessment Objectives

• Assess access to healthcare services
• Evaluate healthcare facility capacity

• Assess maternal and child healthcare services
• Evaluate emergency preparedness systems

3. Methodology

The assessment used mixed methods including household surveys, health facility observations, key informant interviews, and secondary data analysis. A total of 420 households and 18 health facilities were assessed.
